American Shaman is a family-owned place with safe products for everyone in your family-humans, dogs, and yes… cats. You know, cats: the animal that only shows affection when it feel like it, emotionally gaslighting you for years, and somehow convinces you that you’re the problem. A full-on trauma-bond situation. But hey, if you’re still in that relationship, they’ve got you covered. No judgment, but if you need help bling twice at the register. Every visit feels like hanging out with a really smart friend who knows way too much-but in a calming, “you’re not broken, just overstimulated” kind of way. I’m a writer, which means I used to drink a lot. Like sad indie montage, rain on the window a lot. Not ideal. But after discovering this place, I don’t rely on alcohol anymore to cope with staring at a blinking cursor. Now I sleep better, feel healthier, I’m more creative and I even have enough energy to go back to the gym. On purpose. That’s how you know this is legit. Basically, American Shaman helped me chill out without ruining my life. Five stars.

Tiffany is the BEST! She gives very insightful recommendations. This store has so many different products. Although I came in a little bit before closing she still took time to explain the products and find a tailored one for me. I appreciate her patience & kind demeanor. You can count on her to give great suggestions & give great customer service. Thanks to her I found some great products that have helped me unwind and manage stress.

Love this place! Everyone here is super chill and helpful. They always make me feel welcome and never push me to buy stuff I don’t need.
